Refund policy

This policy applies to paid programming consulting engagements (API testing and quality assurance) entered into with API Orbit Consulting Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201947382M). Website inquiries alone do not create a contract.

Cooling-off

Singapore law does not provide a general statutory cooling-off period for business services purchased online. Your rights are as set out in your signed statement of work and the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 (unfair practices are prohibited).

Proposed standard terms (pending business confirmation)

Until a specific engagement letter overrides them, we apply the following baseline:

• Service fees: Refundable within 7 calendar days of written engagement confirmation if no deliverable work has started. Once discovery workshops or harness build tasks begin, fees become non-refundable except as below.
• Deposits and milestones: Non-refundable once the milestone’s work has started. If we terminate without cause before delivering a milestone, we refund the unused portion of that milestone.
• Client cancellation: You may cancel future cycles with fourteen days’ written notice; fees for work already performed remain due.

Non-refundable items

Third-party pass-through costs (licences, cloud usage you ask us to incur on your account) and travel already booked at your request are non-refundable.

Email info@apiorbit.digital or call +65-6000-1905 with your company name, invoice reference, and reason for the request. We acknowledge within three business days and aim to complete eligible refunds within fourteen business days via the original payment method.

Disputes

We will attempt good-faith resolution before escalation. Nothing here limits your statutory remedies.
